PERMIKOMNAS Republic of Indonesia Successfully Held the National Gathering and Permitech Expo Under the Theme "Accelerating Digital Talents Towards Golden Indonesia 2045"

CIKARANG — The National Association of Computer and Informatics Students of the Republic of Indonesia (PERMIKOMNAS RI) successfully organized its grand annual event, the National Gathering & Permitech Expo 2026. Spanning over two days from Saturday to Sunday, July 4–5, 2026, this national-scale event was center-staged at the Balai Pelatihan Teknis (BPT) Komdigi Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

Centering around the grand theme of "Accelerating Digital Talents Towards Golden Indonesia 2045", this event served as a strategic forum bridging policymakers, academicians, industry practitioners, and hundreds of IT student delegates from various regions across Indonesia to formulate tactical blueprints for accelerating national digital talent readiness.

The main event was attended firsthand by several prominent national figures, ministerial officials, and digital industry experts. Among them were the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), Meutya Viada Hafid; Member of Commission I of the DPR RI, Andina Thresia Narang; Head of BPSDM Komdigi, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto; Acting Regent of Bekasi, Asep Surya Atmaja; and the General Chairman of PERMIKOMNAS RI, Fadli, alongside the Coordinator of Region VI DKI Jakarta Permikomnas, Niha Nihaya.

Cyber Security Competition and Innovative Work Exhibition

To evaluate and showcase the practical competence of Indonesia's young talents, the National Gathering and Permitech Expo 2026 put forward two competitive and educational core pillars that garnered massive attention:

  • Cyber Security Competition: A national-level competition specifically engineered to test the agility, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities of students in countering cyber threats and system vulnerabilities. This competition is crucial given Indonesia's pressing need for robust cyber defense as it heads into the Golden Indonesia era.

  • Innovative Work Exhibition (Permitech Expo): A stage for students and young innovators to showcase tech products, web/mobile applications, smart systems, and digital innovation blueprints. The expo successfully caught the eye of industry practitioners looking for potential collaboration and commercialization of student-led research.

"Fadli, as the General Chairman of the National Association of Computer and Informatics Students (PERMIKOMNAS), stated that PERMIKOMNAS holds immense potential in supporting Indonesia's digital ecosystem for the advancement of the nation. He expressed his hope that this potential can be optimized and well-realized."

In his additional remarks, Fadli emphasized that cross-sector collaboration remains the ultimate key. Through the cyber competition and innovative exhibition, the committee and organization proved that Indonesia's young digital talents are not mere technology consumers, but the future creators and shields of the nation's digital defense as it marches toward the grand target of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Collaborative Session and Expert Perspectives

Beyond the competitions and exhibition, the event was further enriched by a series of interactive talkshows bringing together competent speakers from various strategic digital and educational clusters.

The expert panelists sharing their analytical perspectives included Deny Haryadi (Information Technology Lecturer at Telkom University), Stepi Anriani (Executive Director of INSS), Naomi Triyuliani (Head of the Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation Division of Financial Literacy and Education at OJK), Alfreno Kautsar Ramadhan (Special Staff to the Minister of Komdigi RI), and Wulandari Sawitri (Mental Health Activist).

The discussions during the talkshows encompassed bolstering digital literacy, national data security regulations, talent readiness in facing Artificial Intelligence (AI), financial inclusivity aspects by OJK, and the crucial importance of maintaining mental health for workers and students in the fast-paced creative-technology industry.

With the successful adjournment of the 2026 National Gathering & Permitech Expo, PERMIKOMNAS RI consolidates its role as a core engine generating competent, adaptive digital talents who are fully prepared to contribute significantly to the national digital transformation roadmap.
